Are you an accounting firm? Remitide for accounting firms

The collections layer your ERP is missing

Invoicing is easy.Getting paid isn’t.

Remitide connects to your invoicing software, whichever you use, and follows every invoice until it’s paid. Your customer answers each reminder in one click, we watch Spain’s Official Companies Gazette (BORME) in case they enter insolvency proceedings, and we flag the deadlines for recovering the VAT.

The problem doesn’t end when you invoice

Spanish small businesses get paid in 80.5 days. The law sets a maximum of 60.

And 85% of large companies miss the deadlines. Enter your numbers and see what the extra days cost you.

From issuing the invoice to getting paid.

Excluding VAT. Drag it or type your figure.

You get paid 20.5 days past the legal maximum.

A one-off amount that stays in your account.

Assumptions: a 365-day year; financing the money costs 6% a year; interest runs from day 61 at the legal rate for H2 2026 (art. 7, Law 3/2004). An estimate, not a promise of results.

Sources: average payment period to small businesses, CEPYME · second half of 2025 · legal maximum, interest and €40, Spain’s Late Payment Act (Law 3/2004), arts. 4, 7 and 8 · late-payment rate, Official State Gazette (BOE), H2 2026 · large companies, PMcM (April 2026).

Getting paid late isn’t an organisation problem. It’s money you lose.

Every day of delay is working capital you’re lending your customer, VAT you’ve already paid to the tax agency and a legal deadline that keeps running.

  • Payment terms

80.5 days on average, against a legal maximum of 60.

Every day past the deadline is cash you’re advancing to your customer: money owed to you that isn’t in your account.

Source: CEPYME, second half of 2025 · Spain’s Late Payment Act (Law 3/2004), art. 4

  • VAT

You’ve already paid the VAT on what you haven’t collected.

VAT is paid when you issue the invoice, not when you get paid. Getting it back means chasing the debt, issuing the corrective invoice in time and notifying the tax agency on form 952.

Source: Spanish VAT Act (Law 37/1992), art. 80

  • Limitation

    Debts become time-barred.

And an email reminder may not be enough to interrupt the limitation period. You need to know which period is running and when it ends.

Source: Spanish Civil Code, arts. 1964 and 1967

  • Claims

Before a payment order, negotiating is mandatory.

Since April 2025 you have to show a prior attempt to negotiate before applying for a court payment order (monitorio) over an unpaid invoice.

General guidance, not advice: the deadline and requirements that apply to you depend on each case. Check with your accountant or lawyer.

The same week. Without a system, and with Remitide.

Payments aren’t lost all at once. They slip away in loose tasks that aren’t in anyone’s working day. Switch sides and see what’s left.

  1. Monday

You export the due dates to a spreadsheet and match them against the bank by hand.

  2. Tuesday

You write three different emails. One goes to a customer who had already paid.

  3. Wednesday

The account manager asks you not to chase their customer “this week”.

  4. Thursday

The biggest invoice hits 90 days and nobody knows whether its VAT can be recovered.

  5. Friday

Your DSO goes up again and the credit line papers over the working capital.

An illustrative week without follow-up.

What Remitide is

The collections layer that sits on top of your software.

Your invoicing software issues the invoices. Remitide follows each one until it’s paid: it watches the due dates, prepares the reminders and collects what your customer replies.

  • It reads your software. It doesn’t touch it.

Invoices, customers and payments, read-only, via API or from a CSV or Excel file.

  • You send the reminders, from your inbox.

Remitide prepares each reminder with your signature. It goes out from your email and stops once you’re paid.

  • The money goes straight to you.

Your customer pays into your account. Remitide doesn’t take a percentage of what you collect.

The problem

You sell to other companies on 30, 60 or 90-day terms, and your average collection period eats into your working capital.

With Remitide

A collections system without hiring anyone to chase invoices.

  • Sequences by customer type: regulars, key accounts, public sector.
  • The reminder comes from your inbox and with your signature, not from a platform.
  • Your DSO and receivables ageing, the moment you open it.

What if my ERP already does this?

A reminder isn’t collections management.

Lots of software sends a reminder: one rule and one email. Managing collections means deciding who, when, in what tone, and when to stop.

What people ask us before connecting anything.

All frequently asked questions
“My invoicing software already sends reminders”

It’s usually one fixed rule and a generic email. A reminder isn’t collections management. Remitide builds sequences by tone, age of debt and customer type, with a reminder for each invoice that goes out from your own inbox, and it stops once you’re paid.

Compare it point by point
“My customers will be annoyed”

The first reminder goes out 3 days before the due date and it’s friendly. Each customer type has its own tone, frequency is capped at one or two reminders a week and, if you like, you review every email before it goes out.

“I don’t have time to set anything up”

You connect your software and your inbox in minutes, and Remitide suggests the reminder sequence. From the Professional plan, we set it up with you on a call.

“What if my customer has already paid?”

When the sync picks up the payment in your invoicing software, that invoice’s sequence stops on its own, and the outstanding balance is checked again before every send. Your customer can also say “I’ve already paid” from the link in the reminder: reminders for that invoice wait a few days while you check.

“Is it safe to give it access?”

Remitide reads your invoices and doesn’t change anything in your software. Money never passes through Remitide, data is stored in Europe and the account has two-step verification.

“What if it doesn’t work for me?”

Try it free for 14 days, no card needed, with real reminders you review before they go out. If you subscribe afterwards, you can cancel the renewal whenever you like from the app itself.

Every day without follow-up brings an invoice closer to going unpaid.
